A potent gut-healing and inflammation-cooling hot toddy filled with restorative spices and other great ingredients to warm your body and soul.

 ½ cup cashew milk (or use almond, pistachio or coconut or coconut if desired)
 ¼ tsp ground turmeric
  tsp ground cardamom
  tsp ground cinnamon
  tsp freshly grated ginger
 pinch of vanilla powder (or dash vanilla extract)
 pinch of freshly cracked black pepper
 3 drops liquid stevia (or powdered stevia to taste [optional])
 1 star anise (optional)

Heat the cashew milk in a small saucepan over medium heat for 2–3 minutes or until just warmed.

Add the spices, ginger, vanilla and pepper, and then stir to remove any lumps.

Remove from the heat and pour through a fine strainer to remove the grated ginger.

Add the stevia to taste and have when hot or warm.
